It is Thanksgiving Day in the US tomorrow and even if you are not from the USA I want to say thank you for reading!
Personally I have mixed feelings around Thanksgiving considering that it is very much a white European celebration now centered eating meat and pumpkin pie. Neither of which I do!
In addition, the grandiose celebration of the pilgrim settlers troubles me because it forgets the subsequent abuse of native and indigenous Americans who helped the first English settlers get through a very hard first winter and introduced them to many of the native crops. The first Thanksgiving wasn’t quite like it is depicted.

I agree with you about the genocide. It’s ongoing as well. I did obtain a fine Turkey from Cobblestone Valley Farm, watching them grow from poults on Instagram. The Knapp’s have organic strawberries in the summer too. No milk for you, or is it the sugar?
