Fresh juices are lovely as long as they are drunk when they are still fresh! Image from Pixabay
Last week we had the risk of Clostridium botulinum in inadequately processed juices and this week we have nine people who suffered salmonella after eating at raw juice bar in Minnesota. While we don’t know exactly which food caused the foodborne illness, we need to be cautious as raw fruit and vegetables naturally contain foodborne pathogens. If you are making raw juices that are sold to consumers please please contact a food safety expert NOW! I do free food safety coach calls. Book an appointment today.
