Pasta recalled
Due to no inspection
On March 20th, the Food Safety Inspection Service of USDA announced that Avanza Pasta, LLC., an Evanston, Ill. establishment, was recalling approximately 2,237 pounds of meat and poultry pasta products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection.
If you are producing any product containing meat or poultry be aware that all food products containing more than 2% meat or poultry must be inspected before being released into the market. Not sure if your product needs to be inspected and by who?
