I’m reading Bread, Wine Chocolate by Simran Sethi on the recommendation of Alicia Kennedy. The second chapter on Taste reminds me of my article from May 2020 “Food is Joy” when I was thinking about the food season to come.
I’ve had my fresh strawberries and my juicy freshly harvested peaches for this year and I am currently enjoying apples, corn, and winter squashes. My apartment smells of tomatoes which are in the soup cooking on my stove.
