I could totally lose all my time exploring the books stored in the Cookbook and Home Economics digitized collection. Luckily I only just found out about it because there are over 10,000 books covering topics such as cookery, textiles, family and home, budgeting, and domestic sciences. To my delight that includes food science as my first browse/search led me to finding “Food inspection and analysis; for the use of public analysts, health officers, sanitary chemists and food economists by Albert Ernest Leach, enlarged and revised by Andrew L Winton. What a find! Randomly scrolling through fills my food chemist’s heart to the brim.
