Welcome to the Food Industry Employment Program!
The purpose of Food Industry Employment Program is to help food entrepreneurs and small food business owners comply with food safety regulations and develop a food safety culture.
The mission is to build a team of global thinkers who want to use food science and technology to create a food system with access to healthy, culturally appropriate food for all.
We help food businesses grow while being sustainable and remaining true to their core values. Our food entrepreneurs and small food manufacturers have similar values, including:
Using healthy fresh ingredients purchased directly from a local farm
Following fair labor practices by ensuring well paid employment to local people.
These values allow us to start creating a resilient and sustainable food system, while reducing poverty and its associated concerns, and allowing all people access to safe and healthy food.
